The Tombstone Shooting by Accident!

As you know, if you are a reader of "Lancer; Hero of the West" you know that our hero lives and works out of Tombstone, Arizona. The Tombstone of the 1880's and the Tombstone famous for the Gunfight at the OK Coral.

This past week something happened in historic Tombstone when a re-enactor shot a colleague with a real weapon. They were re-enacting the famous battle between the Earps, Doc Holiday and the Cowboys of the Clanton gang when a shot was fired. The blanks which were supposed to be in the gun, were not. Real bullets were.

The VIDEO tells the tale the best so far.

It does not tell why the shooter had real bullets in his gun in the first place and if the two men had a history. Not like this hasn't happened before. Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee, was killed on the movie set of The Crow when the wrong thing happened during fictional gun play.

What we can say about Lancer is violence is his last option. The gun only gets used as a last resort. He lives in Tombstone and is a very careful man. This would never have happened to Lancer. And if he had used the gun as a last resort, he is always a deadly shot.

Great Review for Lancer - The Los Angeles Affair

We always love great reviews and the first Amazon.com review was tremendous. The reader of "Lancer; Hero of the West - The Los Angeles Affair," which was released recently, said this ...

Literary seduction, heroism, mystery, humor... Lancer: Hero of the West is as sweet as his favorite candy, Turkish Delight!

You can read more and learn how to purchase the book and it's Kindle version here.  Please if you do purchase and like the book we encourage you to write a review on Amazon. It helps in promoting the book for others to see someone else read it, and enjoyed it. We do appreciate it very much.

Lancer Book Signing a Success!

While some book signings are more successful than others, we had a good time, met some old friends, supporters showed and we signed and sold some books. So the signing at the Open Book Store in the Oaks Mall, Thousand Oaks was a good one.

Old friend from Sylmar High School Daryl Fielder showed up as did good friends Dave Rodriguez, Dr. Carole Lieberman and a nice host of friends and relatives. Fan and longtime listener to KNX, Bill Mann came out as well. We shared the new Lancer Music Video which everyone loved and nearly all took part in some free Turkish Delight, a favorite of the sweet tooth of Lancer; Hero of the West.

Dr. Carole Lieberman (above) author and radio show host as well as supporter.

We are working on setting up a signing for November or so but the holidays are always a difficult time to schedule but we're going to try as we've had some requests from readers.

The video will be out on YouTube this week and I encourage all my readers to click on it. It is the only way songwriters get paid and you need a million clicks or so. It's not our of reach and I'd love to see both Al Kasha and Ron Dante make money for their efforts. It would be nice and it might bring in some more fans of the genre.

The photos are of fans who showed up and we do appreciate their support.
